March Card Class To Go

I do monthly card classes. The card classes include everything you need to create the cards except for scissors and adhesive. I include computer-printed greetings, but if you would prefer to use your own greeting, you can always turn the tag over and use the back side.

 

This is a photo of my March Cards.

 

 

 

 

This month, I am including several sayings and they can be interchanged on the cards, so that you can use whichever greeting you need, when you need it!  There will be more than enough greetings for the cards, plus some left over. 

 

I changed the design of the red card above just a little so that the tag is like the others.

I will begin mailing these kits at the end of next week.

 

For this class, you will receive all of the supplies that you need to make 12 cards (3 each of 4 designs) with envelopes. The cards will include greetings for various occasions. If you do not like the sayings provided, you can turn the tags over and stamp your own sayings on the back with the ink of your choice. This month, I will include various sayings that will fit on any of the cards. This way, you can choose the greeting that you want when you are ready to send the card!

 

The only supplies you will need to provide are adhesive and scissors

 

 

The kit will include a flyer with the dimensions for the cardstock, and all of the supplies listed. There will be a full-color photo of each card along with a link to a step-by-step video.

 

The cost of the class is $25, and that includes shipping directly to your door.

Butterflies Galore!

I love butterflies! One of my favorite winter activities in California is to go to Pacific Grove to see the monarch butterflies that migrate there in the winter. There will be clusters of them hanging on the branches of the trees. On warmer days, there will also be some floating through the air. I never tire of seeing this!

With my love of butterflies, I was very excited when Stampin' Up!® released the new Butterfly Bouquet bundle. It is a beautiful set of products!  The bundle comes with a large stamp with 6 different butterflies. It has a coordinating die set with one die that cuts out all 6 butterflies at once!  There are also detailed dies that can be used as an overlay for the butterflies.

This bundle will be included in the upcoming Annual Catalog. The coordinating 6 x 6 inch Butterfly Bijou designer paper is only available until May 3, 2021. It will not be included in the new Annual Catalog which starts on May 4. The paper is beautiful and one sheet has butterflies that can be cut out using the large die in the die set.

I joined several other demonstrators in doing a card swap (kind of like a cookie exchange) using this set. It always amazes me how many ideas can come from a single stamp set!  Here are two samples that I designed, and also a few of my favorites from the swap that other demonstrators designed.

 

For this card, I used the Brick Wall 3D texture impressions folder for the background. I inked the folder with Cinnamon Cider ink before running the cardstock through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine. The cardstock bricks were cut using the Brilliant Wings dies. The Butterfly was cut using the dies as well. The butterfly is from the Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper.

 

This card uses the Butterfly Bijou DSP and the Butterfly Bouquet Bundle. The Gilded Leaf was used with  heat and stick powder for the butterfly, Tear and Tape for the strip of gold, and Foam Adhesive Sheets for the "hi".

 

This next card was designed by Natalie Travis. I loved her color combination! She used the Blending brushes to make the scalloped layer, using Poppy Parade and Pumpkin Pie inks on Mango Melody card stock.

 

This Card was designed by Janice Weightman. I liked that she used the Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper for the background, making this card quick and easy! The butterflies were cut out of the designer paper using one of the dies.

This card was designed by Gwenn Duckworth. I love the look of the butterflies that she colored using the Stampin' Blend Markers.
