Colorful Season Bundle Sneak Peek - Soft Sunset Technique Video

I made this card for a swap that I did recently with a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrator friends.

Several people asked how I created the "sunset", so I decided to do a video to show how to make this card:

 

I love this scene because it reminds me of being at the beach, which is my "happy place". 

This card uses the Colorful Seasons Bundle which will be released in the new Stampin' Up! Catalog on June 1!   The bundle includes a set of framelits and a stamp set. The framelits include dies that will cut out images stamped with the stamp set, as well as some dies that stand alone (such as the chair on the above card)

Life Is Beautiful - New Stampin' Up! Catalog Sneak Peek.

As Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, we are given the opportunity to pre-order products from the new catalog before it is released. I am so excited about this new catalog!  There are some awesome new products!!

One of my favorite new bundles is the Colorful Seasons Bundle. It comes with a stamp set that has stamps for every season of the year, and the framelits that come in the bundle are very versatile as well!!  Definitely my favorite out of the new catalog. I have been playing with this bundle quite a bit recently. I will be posting another card and video using this bundle over the next few days.

For now, this is one of my creations using this bundle. The card base is the new Berry Burst In Color. It is actually a bit more pink that this photo shows, but it is a deep, rich color!  The branch and flowers were all cut using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies. The saying and the stamped flowers are from the Colorful Seasons Stamp set, and the background paper is from the new Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack. I love how the paper has an ombre effect. I truly adore this new paper!  There are 4 different color pallets in the stack (Berry Burst, Dapper Denim, Old Olive and Crushed Curry). Some of the sheets look like paint sample cards. I can't wait to have more time to play with this beautiful paper!

The framelits in the premier bundle are so fun to work with! They coordinate with our layered circle framelits to create wonderful medallions with various patterns. There are tons of possibilities with these framelits!

Here I used the new In Color Lemon Lime Twist ink pad and card stock to create this simple card.
