My other Easter themed cards have all had to do with bunnies and chicks. While those are adorable, and definitely bring to mind spring and Easter, I decided to make a card that commemorates the true reason that we celebrate Easter!
I am so happy when Stampin' Up! includes a religious Easter stamp set. I really love the one they brought out in the Occasions Catalog this year! I used the Easter Message stamp set for this card.
Here is the card that I made using this set.
For the main card, I used Early Espresso and Crumb Cake Card Stocks. I texturized the background layer of Crumb Cake using the Woodgrain Texture Folder. I stamped the cross from the Easter Message stamp set onto another layer of Crumb Cake using Basic Black ink. I then colored the Cloth white using the white pencil from the Watercolor Pencil Set. I stamped the banners in Early Espresso ink using the Banners for You Stamp Set. I then stamped the words from the Easter Message set onto the banners, inking only a portion of the stamp with the Early Espresso Marker. Once the banners were stamped the way I wanted them, I cut them out using the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies. I popped the banners up using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I have been on an Easter Card kick this week! It seems that every time I grab a stamp to create something, it has an Easter theme.
Here is my most recent card. (If you look on my last post, you will see a Whisper White and Wisteria Wonder oval used as a focal point on that card.
On this card, I decided to use the frames that were created when I cut those ovals out of the card stock. I used the Little Cuties Stamp Set.
This card was pretty easy to make. I already had the frames from making the card from the previous post. I texturized the Wisteria layer (with the oval cut out) using the Confetti Texture Folder, and then attached it to the Whisper white layer with the oval frame (this left a small scalloped oval ring of white showing from beneath the outer Wisteria layer) . I then cut one more Whisper White oval using the Layering Ovals Framelits. I adhered the layers with the oval frames onto a card base of Wisteria Wonder. I stamped the saying in Basic Black ink onto the Whisper White oval that I cut. I stamped the image of the chick onto the Whisper White oval. I also stamped the Chick onto So Saffron Card Stock using Basic Black ink and cut just the body out. I colored the chick's feet on the image stamped directly onto the white oval, and colored the beak (with a Pumpkin Pie Marker) on the image that I cut out from the So Saffron Card Stock. Using a Stampin' Dimensional, I popped up the So Saffron chick on top of the image on the white oval. I then adhered the white oval into the center of the frames on the card base.

I finally had a bit of time to sit down and create some Easter Cards! There are some great sets for Easter in the Occasions Catalog this year.
I really like the Basket Bunch Bundle. It literally has a framelit for almost every stamp in the stamp set!
I especially like the basket and the small items that go inside!
Here is a card I made using many of the stamps and framelits from the set.
The card base, scallop oval and bow were made using the Wisteria Wonder Card Stock. The ovals were both cut using the Layering Ovals Framelits. I texturized the background using the Elegant Dots Texture Folder. For the eggs, the rabbit "peep",the bow, and the chocolate rabbit, I stamped each onto colored card stock using Versamark ink. I then embossed each image with clear embossing powder, and cut them out with framelits. I added a "candy" eye on my chocolate rabbit using a self-adhesive pearl, and added a black dot to the middle using a permanent marker.
