Christmas Preparations!

Whew! What a busy few days!  I have been stamping Christmas Cards and tags. It became an absolute family affair as we stamped 425 cards this year! Last night, I helped my hubby get his work gifts put together. 

Here is a picture of what my kitchen table looked like this week! 

I baked banana bread for neighbors and my husband's co-workers. 

Here is a close up of one of the tags. It was made using the Yummy Little Christmas Stamp set.

We also gave his direct team members a bottle of wine from our favorite Livermore Winery - Rodrigue Molyneaux Winery.

The tags were made with the Here's to Cheers Bundle.

And last, but not least - here is a close up of the Christmas Cards that I finally settled on. I used Blackberry Bliss Card stock, which is a big deal because it is one of my favorite colors, but it is retired!  I depleted most of the stash that I had left. I did end up doing some of the same card in Night of Navy as well.

I used the Joyful Nativity Stamp set along with the Merry Tags Framelits.

 

I have more samples from the upcoming Occasions Catalog that I will be sharing over the next few days. I just had to share the last of my Christmas preparations with you today!

I made this card using one of the Sale-a-Bration stamp sets (Hey, Chick). It is an adorable set with 3 different chickens a partially hatched egg, and two sayings!  I can't wait to see all of the creative projects that will be done with this set! I also used the Hexagon texture impressions folder and inked the raised edge to create this "chicken wire".

Another Occasions 2017 Catalog Sneak Peek!

I have been stamping up a storm this week! I have so many new toys (ahem!) TOOLS to try out that I don't know where to start!  I have been working on 5 different swap cards this week, and I am currently working on stacks of Christmas Cards, so I am going to keep this post short and sweet!

Here is a swap card I made using the new Lift Me Up Bundle. It includes the Lift Me Up Stamp set (16 images) and the Up & Away Thinlit Dies (15 dies). It is a great bundle!  I am looking forward to many more hours of creating with this bundle!

Sneak Peek - Items from the Stampin' Up! Occasions 2017 Catalog

I am starting to get excited about Christmas, but it always seems to sneak up on me too quickly!! I was sick for an entire week, so that didn't help things! I am thankful the respiratory bug hit BEFORE CHRISTMAS!! Now I am almost back to normal, and I need to finish my Christmas Cards. With all of the designing I have been doing, you would think I would have them done. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

I know I should be working on those cards, but I just couldn't resist playing with some of my new toys from the Occasions Catalog! I will give you a quick sneak peek. Be sure to come back over the next several days, because I have several samples I will be sharing (including one using a set from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure)!

I love to make masculine cards. I was excited to see the new suite of products in the Occasions Catalog geared for men. It is called Urban Underground. It is a new favorite, especially the new Hexagon 3-D impressions folder!!

Here is a card I made using the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp set. I paired it with several items from the Urban Underground Suite. The texture folder, the hexagon embellishment, and the washi tape all came from the Urban Underground Suite. I love how the hexagon texture folder creates an awesome honeycomb! It is hard to tell in this photo, but the banner on the bottom left was made with our gold foil paper. There is one item from the Sale-a-bration Brochure on this card. It is the metallic ribbon at the bottom of the honeycomb. This ribbon comes in a set of two rolls. One has metallic sliver threads woven through it, and the other has gold metallic threads. This is a must have item!! The best thing is the ribbon is FREE With a $50 purchase starting January 4th!
