I am so excited!! I finally got enough of my work done that I got to try out some of the new products that I ordered from the Stampin' Up! 2015 Holiday Catalog!!
One of my favorite new products is the Jingle All the Way Bundle! It includes the Jingle all the Way Stamp set along with the Sleigh Ride Edgelit Dies. I wish I could link to the products for you, but since the catalog doesn't go live until September 1, I am not allowed to show the actual products, just samples.
That is one of the many advantages to being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! I get the new products in my hot little hands early. I SO LOVE to play with the new stamp sets and accessories!
Here is a sample that I made with this new bundle. The stamp set includes 4 saying (merry everything, silent night, jingle all the way and home for Christmas). It also has 9 smaller images that coordinate with the edgelits. The edgelits have the horse and sleigh that I used, a row of houses, and a row of trees. It is SO FUN to make cards with this bundle!!
I also used the Softly Falling Texture folder to create the snowstorm on my background. This is an amazing new folder, and it is 6 x 6 inches, so it does a great job of covering larger surfaces.
No card is complete without a bit (or a lot) of bling, so I used some glimmer paper for the hill, touhced the snowflakes with some versamark, and embossed with irridescent ice embossing powder. Unfortunately, the photo didn't pick up the glitter on the snowflakes. I also used a bit of our silver thread to create a bow.
I know it is a bit early to be thinking of Christmas, but with the heat we have been having, it was kind of nice to be thinking about snow!
