My Stamping Garage: October 2013

Trick or TREATS!

For the past 13 years, we have lived in the country. We would get about 6 trick or treaters. This year, we live in a subdivision in a much larger town. I have NO IDEA how many kids to plan for! With my sweet tooth, I sure don't want to have a huge amount left over, but I also don't want to run out... I guess I will have a better idea next year.

With that in mind, I have a hundred treat bags made up with lots more candy on top of that. Here is what my mom and I made up for our little "guests" this evening.

The Pumpkin Pie Goodie Gear Kits made this a much easier task! The tags, washi tape strips and white tags along with the clear bags and the twine all came in the kits. I used the Oh Goodie stamp set to stamp the "enjoy" and the Tags 4 You Bundle (with stamp and punch) for the "trick or treat".

Another Weekly Specials Card

As promised, here is another card made using items from the weekly specials. Items used on this card that are included in the weekly specials are the Secret Garden Framelits and the Ovals Framelits Collection. I have included a few other cards that I had posted previously that were also made using the Secret Gardens Framelits.

I used the Secret Garden Stamp set, the Feel Goods stamp set and the Fancy Fan texture folder on this card. Colors used were Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze.

Thanksgiving Turkey Anyone? Weekly Deals!

Fall - Thoughts of You

The fall colors are starting to come out in all their glory. It inspired me to come up with this card using fall leaves and the fall colors we are seeing in our area.

I have always really liked the two-step stamping sets like this one. The burlap ribbon that is in the Holiday Catalog just finishes off this whole look! Add a natural button and some linen thread, and this fall card comes to life!

Thinking of you - Sympathy

Here is one more sympathy card that I made for my friend Tina's Grandmother. This one was definitely made with Mawmaw in mind. The color, the sparkles and the flowers all remind me of this dear lady. Her funeral was today, and I am very sad that I could not be there to attend.
