I have been stamping all week. I finally have more things to share!
Here is a fall scrapbook page I did for my club this month. Be sure to check out the tutorial on how to make the colored jumbo brads!

This "A" was made using the Serif Essentials Alphabet die on the Big Shot. I cut out a piece of chipboard and a piece of designer series paper. NOTE: Be sure to put the side of the DSP that you want to show FACE DOWN when cutting. I LOVE using this alphabet die set!! I can cut my chipboard with the DSP so it is an exact fit - no sanding or hand cutting - yahoo!
The ribbon I used around the "leg" of the "A" is the new Early Espresso Quilted Ribbon found in the Holiday Mini catalog.
This image of the sunflower was made using the large Sunflower background stamp. I inked it in More Mustard Ink, and then used the Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker to ink the center.
But wait! Is that an Early Espresso Jumbo Brad?? I didn't think we carried it in Early Espresso! We don't - so check out the tutorial for making the jumbo brads any color you would like!
COLORED BRAD TUTORIAL
Start with a craft pad - I used the Early Espresso to match the center of my sunflower. Notice the color is hand-written on the end of the pad. We don't carry pre-inked craft pads in the large size. You can get the spots pre-inked, or you can purchase the uninked craft pads and get the reinker colors of your choice. (No, you cannot wash the color out and use the same pad for various colors - you need to get a separate pad for each color. This may sound like a silly question to some, but I get asked that question a lot, so I thought I would answer it before it was asked this time around!)
The jumbo brads (I used the 5/8 inch size) come in four colors (vanilla, white, chocolate chip and silver). You can use ANY of the colors to do this technique.
Hold the brad with a pair of tweezers so you don't burn your fingers. Dip the brad into the craft ink.
Check to be sure the front of the brad is thoroughly covered with ink.
Dip the brad into the crystal clear embossing powder.
Be sure all of the ink is heavily coated with the clear embossing powder - if you question it, dip it into the powder again.
Heat the brad with a heat tool (also known as an embossing gun - although many have an aversion to the word "gun", so I guess "heat tool" is the PC way to say it!). Be sure all of the powder has completely melted. Hold the brad with the tweezers for a minute or so until it has a chance to cool a bit. If you put it down before this, the melted powder on the sides of the brad will stick to the surface that you put it on. (ask me how I know this! :0)
Simple as that, you have the option of any of our colors in jumbo brads!! This can actually be done on ANY SIZE brad!
Go create your own colored brads in many assortments - image a two-toned brad!! Do you like shimmer brads?? Try using the irridescent ice embossing powder instead of the clear - lovely color AND glitter!!

I promised more photos and details from the Narrows Tour - so here goes!
It was pretty chilly that morning when we set out. I was afraid we were going to freeze - especially when we were assured that we would be in water up to our chests! They were not kidding!
It was a beautiful day when we started out, though, so pretty soon the sun was hitting the canyon making it a bit less frigid!
The water current was pretty swift, and we couldn't see the rocks on the bottom, so you had to carefully "feel" your way along while trying not to get swept away by the current! It was still a fun and beautiful trip, and sharing it with 11 other friends just made it better!
I think they were a bit crazy to let me lead the way!
When we stopped for lunch, just after getting to the narrowest part of the canyon and turning around to come back out (about 2.25 miles into the canyon) it was sunny and beautiful. As we finished lunch, we started to see some clouds (you couldn't see large amounts of the sky since the canyon is so narrow). When we heard the first roll of thunder, everyone jumped up and started hitting the trail to high tail it out of the canyon. We got back out of the canyon a LOT faster than we went in!! The thunder and the rain were great motivators for us to MOVE FAST!!
15 minutes after we exited the canyon, waterfalls started cascading in huge torrents down the cliffs in the park. The river flash flooded VERY QUICKLY! We were very thankful we hadn't wasted any time getting back out of that canyon! This is the reason I would never do this tour without a guide! Here is a picture of the river once the flooding started. The current was incredibly swift and the river was much higher than before. Notice the red-brown color of the water.
There is never a dull moment when we go hiking in and around Zion!

The final day arrived. The menu for the day was fruit tarts - yummy!
I played Plinko for a prize for the last time - got an entire pad of printed designer paper!!
I spent the rest of the day with friends by the pool, and then it was time for the final event.
OH, WHAT A NIGHT!!!!!!
This was probably my favorite final event ever! We had SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Imagine 130 women set loose on a golf course in golf carts!! It was hilarious!! We had 9 holes of "golf" to play as a team. Actually, at each hole there was a different game being run by the Stampin' Up! staff and Shelli and her daughters. Some of them were golf related (like hitting marshmallows across the green). Others were stamping related - like stamping blindfolded while the team told you what to stamp where.
I felt like a little kid driving that cart around. The golf course was very beautiful. There were hills and sharp curves that we drove up and down and around. Kind of like a kiddie roller coaster :0) It was so fun as we were standing on the greens to play our games. If you listened, you could hear laughter floating on the air from all over the golf course.
After all of the games were over, we came back to the clubhouse for dinner. We found out we were ALL winners! We each got a trophy and inside it was a new set of In Color Markers. AWESOME!!
I cannot believe all of the wonderful gifts and products we received while we were here!! It was a good thing I had brought an extra suitcase!! They were both FULL on the way home!!
When we returned to our rooms to pack, there was a final gift on our pillows.
This beautiful keychain has an inscription on the bottom that says Founder's Circle 2011. Many of the baubles are from our simply adorned line. It is beautiful! What a wonderful way to end our fabulous retreat!!

What a day!!
I went hiking in the Narrows of Zion National Park with several friends. It was beautiful - I will have more pictures to share later. The guides took pictures for us since we were in water up to our chest for part of the hike. Needless to say, we didn't bring our good cameras on the hike.

We even saw some Big Horn Sheep!
Last night, we went to Tuachan (an outside amphitheater) to see "The LIttle Mermaid". It was an amazing production with incredible special effects!!
When we returned to our rooms, we found another pillow gift!
Inside were these adorable aprons made with our Beau Chateau fabric.
Well - I had better hurry down to breakfast, and another relaxing day by the pool!

We were given a new die for the big shot, as well as a new stamp set to use on these make and takes. Great projects, and even better - great time stamping with friends!!

I loved this card - definitely not something I would have come up with on my own, but I think it is adorable!

What a night!
Tonight was the Founder's Circle Pajama Party, Business Share and Card Swap. Once again, they gave us some incredible goodies to eat. Lots of fabulous business ideas were shared, and we all swapped our cards. As always, I got some amazing swaps. Such talent!! I am always blown away by the beautiful cards, and projects that everyone makes!
I couldn't resist taking a picture of Nancy in her "bear bottom" pajamas!
Shelli's Birthday is next month, so we all surprised her with cards and 6 x 6 scrapbook pages. They made a crown for her to wear and gave her a birthday cake pin.

When we entered the business share, we were given these great journals featuring some new images! They went along with the "tea party" theme for the week.
When I got back to my room, this pillow gift was waiting for me! This bucket is filled with goodies for another surprise tomorrow night. They are taking us to Touachan - a local outside amphitheater to see "The Little Mermaid". It is such an amazing experience to go to this theater!

Last night was the welcome dinner at Founder's Circle. As usual, they outdid themselves. The decorations were beautiful and the dinner was delicious!!
We arrived to find these place settings with our names on them. They were Tea cups filled with roses. We got to keep the tea cups. Each one was different.
When we arrived and checked in we each had a group we were assigned to, and we were supposed to find the others in our group. I was in the "Silver Spoons". This was the center piece on our table.
These were my other table mates. It is fun to sit with people you don't know. I feel like I have made several new friends.

This morning, I started the day off with a great breakfast at the hotel, then went and checked in with Stampin' Up! The theme this year in the gathering place is a tea shop. SOOO cute, and the cupcakes were AMAZING!! So moist and yummy!
These were the cupcake selections for today - I hope this means we will get more of these delicious cupcakes in the days to come! I had the Raspberry Lemon one, and it was the BEST CUPCAKE I have ever eaten! They also have a different kind of flavored ice tea for us to try each day - today was orange passion. It was wonderful!
This was one of the sitting areas in the tea shop. There are tons of different candies that we can choose from, and the containers for the candies are cupcake cups! It always amazes me the details that they think about!

When I checked into my room for the retreat, this is what greated me - LOVE these door signs. There is one on each of our doors. It feels like one big dorm! - What fun!
I was pleasantly surprised - my room has a little balcony where I can sit and look out over the city and the mountains in the background. Here is one of the busses arriving from the airport.
Everyone is being given their own room key. Their luggage is delivered directly to their room! Talk about service!
I spent some wonderful time in the pool with several friends. What an awesome day so far!! Tonight is our welcome dinner, so there will be much more to come!!

I have been using my new Simply Scored Scoring System from Stampin' Up! (talk about alliterations! - ha!) I probably could have thought of some more S's to put into that sentence, but I will stop there!

I am in LOVE! It has some great features that I couldn't find elsewhere!
Not only is the price great for this type of tool, but it also has scoring grooves every eighth of an inch!!! YAHOO! I can score all of my projects now - no matter what measurements I am using!
The scoring stylus is metal tipped with 2 rounded ends of different sizes - The larger one works better for thinner paper so that it doesn't go too deep. The scoring stylus also has its own slot for storage on the tool. This way, you are not rummaging around looking for the stylus!
It has an open side, so if I am trying to score something that is longer than 12 inches - no problem! The project will still fit flat onto the surface of the tool. The scoring grooves only go up to 12 inches, but I can turn the paper around to do the other end if needed.
It also has slots above EACH scoring groove, so if I need to score multiple projects of the same kind, I can place a marker on the grooves that I want to use. This allows me to quickly locate the proper groove without making mistakes.
One of the greatest features is the storage compartment along the top edge of the tool. It is a great place to keep my extra groove markers and other small items that I may need.
