It has been a busy month, and I haven't posted recently. I wanted to share some highlights from a downline retreat that I had in Ocotober at a local Christian Campground. We spent Friday night through Sunday afternoon stamping, scrapping, and LAUGHING! I know I am biased, but I think I have the best downline ever! They are a great group of ladies, and we had a GREAT weekend together!
I wanted everyone to get to experience the feeling of walking into their room and finding gifts on their pillow. Stampin' Up! does this for us on the Cruise, as well as at the Founder's Circle Retreat, and it is such an exciting thing, that I wanted each of my downline members to see what it was like! I was like a kid in a candy shop coming up with ideas and prepping the gifts!
I had mugs on the tables when the ladies arrived at the retreat. (unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture!)I had decorated them with some of our Christmas Decor Elements, and put in 2 packages of hot chocolate as well as hand dipped marshmallows and chocolate dipped spoons that I had made.
On each door- they had a handmade name tag.
The first night, they got slippers made with our Candy Cane Christmas fabric, and some Godiva caramels.
The last night, they each got one of the paper cupcakes that were like the ones that were given to us at Founder's Circle. It was fun to see a whole pan of these "delicious" cupcakes!
Inside each cupcake was a pin that I had made using the 5/8 inch square charms and the tiny ornament from our Holiday Happiness stamp set. I adorned them with one of our tiny pearls and small rhinestones.
I am already looking forward to next year's retreat!
Here is a picture of the group of us that went.
