I needed a simple card to use as a make and take. This is what I came up with. It uses the Sending Love Notes Hugs (page 19 in the Occasions Mini Catalog), the Fox and Friends set (page 31 in the Occasions Mini Catalog), Designer paper from the Sweet Pea Designer series pape stack (pabe 33 in the Occasions Mini Catalog), and some of our fine galaxy glitter along with the Taken with Teal cardstock and ink. Quick and cute!

I absolutely LOVE butterflies! I was very excited to see the new embosslit that SU! has in the Occasions Mini Catalog on page 24.
I had a special request to repeat this card for my hostess on Saturday. I had done this card in January at her Niece's workshop, and she wanted a sample, too. (I give my hostesses everything that I make at their workshops).
When I first saw this butterfly stamp, I thought that I would use it only as a shadow for my dies, then I went to Leadership, and saw Carrie Cudney use the small background stamps in the mini to give the stamp some texture. So of course - now I own them all, too!
This sample uses the butterfly accent stamp, fine flourish stamp, and solid stripes stamp on pages 42 and 43 of the Occasions mini catalog. I also used the Perfect Polka Dots textured Impressions folder for the dry embossing on the base of the card. The saying comes from the Vintage label set from the Sale-a-Bration flyer, and the scalloped border was made using the scallop trim border punch. The Vintage label set and the scallop trim border punch are both items you can get free with a $50 purchase now through the end of March 2010. What a deal!! I punched the saying out with the scallop oval punch and matted it with the wide oval punch. The ribbon is our new satin ribbon also found in the mini catalog on page 27. The rhinestones come from the eggcellent egg kit. (see the sample that I made in my post from 2/22/2010). I recently did a birthday party for 8 fifth grade girls. They did a fabulous job following directions and making their own project to take home!
We made portfolios using our pre-printed folders. I got my inspiration from my friend, Connie Sylvester. She made a folder similar to this and gave it to me at Leadership.
This project was made using the Fox and Friends set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.
Here is the inside of the portfolio. The girls covered a small notepad, and made magnets for their lockers.
When the girls arrived, I had these cake slice boxes made.I had made enough of them to form the bottom layer of the cake. I also made a 5.75 inch circle that said Happy Brithday and had one of the flowers in the middle. I had each girl sign the inside of a 6 x 6 inch card, and at the end of the party when each girl took their piece of cake, I took the round piece and attached it to the card so that the birthday girl had a card signed by each of her guests. Inside each box was a small stamp, a stampin' spot and three 2 x 2 inch notecards with the mini envelopes from the pizza box die.

Here is a card I made using elements from the Eggcellent Egg Kit.
I have been playing with the Eggcellent Egg Kit ever since I saw Patty Bennet's display at Leadership. I had purchased the kit mostly for the rhinestones (they are great for our new simply adorned charms!). I have now purchased numerous kits, and I use them all the time!!
Here is what comes in the kit for just $9.95
self adhesive Rhinestones (there are a few missing in this picture, because I have used them)
Run ons (2 sheets of white)
Die cut flowers, leaves, and egg cups (you get 4 sheets of the egg cups, and I use them across a card as an accent. Simply cut the ends with the tabs off.
