Downline Retreat

We are at my Downline  retreat at a Christian camp ground about an hour away from where most of us live (although several came from Michigan  - 7 hours away)

We are having a blast with great food, great fellowship, and lots of awesome door prizes!

I designed a t-shirt using the My Digital Scrapbook software - here is a logo

Digital Scrapbooking now available!!

My Digital Studio software is finally available!  I haven't had a lot of time to play with this yet, but what I have done so far, I LOVE!!  The software is so easy to use!  I am not very knowledgeble on computers, so if I can do this, anyone can!  The software allows you to use pre-made templates and just drop your photos in; or you can start with the template and change any embellishments, colors, etc... that you would like to. You can also just start with a photo layout, and add your own images, embellishments, colors, etc... OR you can start with a blank page and create your own pages from scratch!

This makes a great gift for Christmas, as you can create a single album, and print it as many times as you would like to!

The printing service that Stampin' Up! offers is calibrated to match the SU! colors, so you can even create hybrid pages. (print the page out and add your own embellishments). You can print your own projects or use the printing service that SU! offers to get bound books, calendars, etc...

Been out of touch! Advisory Board Retreat updates!

 

I have been out of touch lately!!  The entire time I was away for Founder's Circle and for the Advisory Board Retreat, I was only able to access the internet twice!  I found out later that it was partially a problem with my laptop - Very frustrating!

There are so many great pictures that I have from Founder's, but I know those have been posted all over the web - except maybe this one of me being miss mountain climbing (actually descending) stamper!

 

Other than that one, I am going to focus on the Advisory Board retreat (better late than never, right?!) It was so much fun. Work, yes, but fun as well!

We had a bit of time to go shopping after we got to our hotel. We all picked out this dress for Tara. We are expecting her to wear it for awards night next year - ha!

The next day we were in for lots of activity - This is where we started our day (the entrance of the distribution center). This would be our home away from home for the next couple of days.

 

We were especially excited to get our rings.

 

We had a PJ party at Shelli's House - what an awesome experience!  If you would like to see a pciture of all of us in our jammies - you can go to Shelli's blog. It was such an honor to be invited into her home! I felt that it was her option to post pictures from the party on her blog, but I do not want to invade her privacy, so out of respect for that - I will not be posting pictures here.

The time flew by and it was the last night. This is a picture in the lobby of the building that has the restaurant where we ate . It had an incredible view (which sadly didn't come out on my camera)!!

 

 

I am looking forward to another great year on the Advisory Board. I miss my friends from last year, but it is fun to experience the different group dynamics between the two Boards. I am looking forward to a great year and the friendhips that are already forming within this Board as well. I am honored to be able to experience this for a second year.
