For this project, you will start by cutting out 2 of the petal cards in riding hood red, using the Big Shot. You will also need a strip of riding hood red card stock cut 2 x 5 inches, and folded in the middle.
Next, fold the bottom 2 flaps of the petal card inward to form a heart shape.
Use a piece of sticky strip along both sides of the strip of card stock. Remove the red coating on just one side to start.
Attach the sticky strip on one side to the flaps on the heart. It is critical that you line up the fold with the tip of the heart. Also be sure to line the side of the strip up with the side of the heart.
Repeat this step on the other side.
Then attach a jumbo eyelet on each side of your pouch. This will insure that the ribbon does not tear through the card stock when you fill your pouch.
Add your ribbon to each side and secure.
Decorate front of pouch as desired. I used the "hugs and kisses" stamp from the Love you Much set, and some of the new embroidered flower accents, as well as the clear rhinestone brads. I then filled a cello bag with chocolate Hugs and Kisses, and tied the bag shut with our wide pink pirouette ribbon.
This makes a perfect valentine treat for a friend, teacher, or neighbor!
